The Nantucket Dreamland Foundation is bringing back it’s successful, Young Actors Theater Company for a 2nd season. Ages 5- 14 welcome to join the cast. 5 one week story camps to choose from. Each week the group focuses on a different classic tale that has been adapted for the stage. Through improvisational games and body work, students will learn new and creative ways to harness and focus their individual energy while simultaneously working as a team to build/decorate the sets, costumes, and props for their show.
Tuition: $350.00

9:00 AM: Magic Giant Daffodil Garden
1st annual event by The Arts Council of Nantucket. The Arts Council gave $100.00 to participating Nantucket elementary & pre-schoolers to create a Giant Daffodil that will be planted along the entrance to Wannacomet on the Daffodil Parade route. The $100.00 helped kid’s to purchase materials to dress their daffodils.
10:00 AM: Daffodil Festival Weekend Children’s Parade
Kid’s bring your bikes, wagons, baby carriages, skateboards or other self-propelled decorated vehicles. Cookies & lemonade for those who head down to Children’s Beach. Sponsored by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce.
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Summer Activities Fair:
Brought to you by the Nantucket Community School. Located at the Greenhound Building at 10 Washington Street in Town.
10:00 AM: Daffodil Festival Antique Car Assembly:
Assembled on Main Street/Downtown Nantucket, antique cars and motorcycles will be present for viewing in advance of the parade. Sponsored by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce. 12:00 PM the cars and motorcycles will start the parade to Sconset.
12:30 PM: Tailgate Picnic in Sconset:
Taking place alongside Main Street in Sconset, spread out your blankets and bring a picnic. Sponsored by the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce.
12:30 PM 4TH Annual Dog Parade:
